More than 7,000,000 golf balls are used up in Britain every year. It is now .75 years since the first railway was introduced into Germany. The experiment was naturally on a 'modest scale, from Ludwi-sbann joining up iVudeinburg to Furth. The six kilometres of 10 years ago have increased to-dav to 60.000 kilometres, a kilometre being 'fiveeighths of a mile, and it is claimed that Oermany, to-day, possesses the finest railway system in Europe.'
