MR. CAREY AT CLOAKE'S HALL., ir M ir candiclato for Wellington Juorth, addressed a larpo audience at Cloake's Hall, Cottlovillc Terrace, last evening. Mr. J. M'Conkio was in the charr. The speaker stated that encouraging reports as to Labours prospects in the electorate were coining to hand, and it looked practically certain that the second ballot would be between the Opposition and Labour candidates. He also referred to tho criticism levelled at tho constituted Labrur party, and its nominees. Ho was pleased to say that ho had not to answer any criticism. There had been none 'to answer. 1 lie various planks in his party's platform -wero then outlined, and, at tho conclusion, tho candidate was accorded a hearty vole of thanks and conlidence.
