Peking, December X Advices from Urga • (Mongolia) stato that the independence of Mongolia has been declared, and that Chinese officials have been dismissed. AN AGENT MURDERED. Shanghai, December 3. The comprador (agent) of a foreign firm was murdered by revolutionaries. It was alleged that ho had sold arms to tho Imperialists. Tho murderers were pursued, but escaped. POSITION IN MANCHURIA. Tokio, December 3, The revolutionaries in Manchuria are poorly armed. Their successes havo been duo to surprises, and tho Imperialists are easily retaking the towns captured by tho rebels, who are instantly beheaded. AMMUNITION LANDED. Peking, Decomber 3. Forty million rounds of small arms ammunition have been landed at Taku, it is believed from Japan.
