Pooling, or Cooling, returned from tho country a week ago, and found a man with whom he was unfriendly in the house. A scene ensued and Police Court proceedings followed. Pooling quarrelled with his wife over the circumstanccs leading to tho Court case, and afterwards becamo gloomy.
