A start was again made a little ovet a week ago, but the amount of work available does not by any , means com pare with the amount oflering at this time last year. The late opening of tho season, said Mr. Reardon, was attributed to a wot season and a bad spring. It is expeeted that tjiq total output for the season will ba: much smaller than that of last year.
