GAS EXPLOSION.
STAMPEDE OF EMPLOYEES. By TolecTaph-Prcss Association—Copyrieht (Bee. December 3, 5.5 p.m.) Bradford, December 2. The gases in a bricked-up stream, polluted by chemical effluents, exploded and wrecked tho Armitago dyeworks. Eight hundred employees, chiefly girls, stampeded. Ono labourer was killed and twenty injured. Fifteen acres were affected. Tho damage is estimated at JC30.000.
