The cricket match M.C.C- versus Queensland was continued on Saturday, about 10,000 spectators being present. Tho Englishmen, who bud lost two wickets for 62 runs, continued their first innings, and were all disposed of for 2"5 runs. They gavo o splendid defensive display, but, occasionally, tho ' scoring was painfully slow. Mead and Rhodes, however, wero brilliant. Tho Queensland bowling was good, that of M'Laren, Cook, and Hayes particularly. Tho Queensland fielding was also good. Queensland opened their second innings confidently, tho batsmen scoring freely. Jennings wa3 splendidly caught, but it turned out that it was off a no-ball. The English bowling was good, and their fielding sound. Queensland—First Innings. Jennings, b. Foster 91 Fennelly, c.
