PERSIAN CRISIS.
BOMB PLOT DISCOVERED. . A SENSATIONAL STATEMENT. Bj Telegraph—Press Association—CopyricM (E«c. December 3, 5.5 p.m.) Teheran, December 2. A bomb plot against Mr. Morgan Shuster, Treasurer-General of Persia, has been discovered. The prisonor alleges that M. Petroff, the Russian Vice-Consul, bribed him in July last to assassinate Mr. Sinister. RUSSIA'S ULTIMATUM REJECTED. Teheran, December 1. Russia declined to extend the timo limit of the ultimatum. The Mejliss rejected it, although Sir Edward Grey (London Foreign Secretary) urgently telegraphed advising it to comply. Russian troops at Resht were at once ordered to advance on Teheran. The Minister for Foreign Affairs has resigned. COMMITTEE ON PERSIAN AFFAIRS. London, December 1. Members of the House of Commons, in view of the renewed crisis in Persia, have revived Lord Lamington's proposal for the setting up of a committee on Persian affairs. EX-GOVERNOR KILLED. Teheran, December 1. Three men fired seven shots and killet. Ala Ed Dowleh, e.x-Governor of Pars, while he was leaving his residenco u Teheran. He was suspected of intrigu ing with the Sipalidar for the ex-Shah't return.
