Bd. On Wednesday, November 29, we held a very successful clearing sale on account Messrs. Mossrs. Dalgcty and Co. report-.-At our Waverley sale yesterday wc yarded 250 cattle, and a small yarding of sheep, and nave to report a good sale. We quitted AH the sheep, and 210 cattle. Mr. Jicwton King s weekly stock report is as follows:—On Tuesday, November 21, at Jiahotu, I had only 11 small entry, and a small attendance of the public, this being no doubt due to the wretched weather. Yearling heifers (poor) made 365. to 405.; eighteen-months steers, £2 19s. 6d.; store cows, £2 to £3 12s. 6d.; forward cows, £4 ' n!t ' £9. At Whangainomona. on Ihursday, November 23, owing to the very bad weather in the morning, the advertised numbers of cattle did not come forward, but I had a good attendance of buyers from oil parts. Inquiry at tlio Hammer was good for all lines excopt twoyear steers, which did not sell. Two good lines of well-grown bullocks wore yarded, and realised £6 4s, and £6 ss. 6d.; mixed yearlings, £!; fifteen to eighteen-months heifers, 4s. to £2 18s. 6d.; iifteen-inonths stcf.'.'fi, £2 153.; two-year heifers, £3 17s. The store bullocks yarded wore a good line, but did not reach the, reserve; fifteen to eighteen-months steers met with good inquiry, a large number being sold duriug tbe day. At Stony River on Wednesday I had onlv a small entry, but the quality of the cattle was a considerable improvement on rc-cont salos.
