A large number of buyers were present, and- competition for all classes was very animated. Wool (oddments only) was firm at' late rate 3. Crossbred, 6Jd. to 7jd.; bellies and pieces,. 4Jd. to 53d.; crutchings, 43d.: locks, Id. to 3Jd. Sheepskins: Prices were very firm, all.good lines being keenly competed for.
