EXPORTS FOE ELEVEN MONTHS. A return prepared by the Mines Department shows the quantity and value of . gold and silver exported from the several parts of Now Zealand during the months of November 1910 and 1911, and for tho. first eleven months of those years. Following aro tho quantities and values of gold exported during November,, li'll (tho corresponding particulars for November, 1910, being given in parentheses) Auckland, 16,62-1 ounces, valued at £65,416 (24,879 ounces, valued at .£100,281); Wellington, 2 ounces, valued at JEB (nil); Nelson, nil (16 ounces, valued at .£62); Greymouth, 7100 ounces, valued at £28,202 (7467 ounces, valued at .£29,475); Dunedin, 11,816 ounces, valued at £47,772 (!MOO ounces, valued at ,£13,001); Invercargill, 263 ounccs, valued at J2105i (322 ounces, valued at £1289). The total gold export for November, 1911, was 35.805 ounces, valued at .£142,512, ■as against 30,081 ounccs, valued at £144,708 in- the corresponding month of 1910. There was thus a decrease of 279 ounces, valued at £2196; ' Gold exported during the eleven months ended November 30, 1911, amounted to 422,210' ounoea, valued at £1,687,394. For the same period, in 1910 the export was 410,778 ounoea, valued at £1,745,821. There was a decrease for the eleven months' of 18,568. ounces, valued at £58,427. The silver export for November, 1911, was 117,834 ounccs, valued at £11,809, and that for November, 1910, 66,275 ounces, valued at £8,709, bo that there was an increase for the later period of 51,559 ounces, valued at . £5100.

During the eleven months ended November 30, 1911, the silver export totalled 1,205,628 ounces, valued at £120,927. For tho corresponding period of 1910 the export was 1,514,497 ounces, valued at £151,859. There, was a decrease of 309,869 ounces, valued at £30,932.
