4 FURTHER AMENDMENTS. By Telecraph—Press Association—Copyright London, November 30. As a result of conferences with the British Medical Association, Mr. LloydGeorge (Chancellor of tho Exchequer) has given notice of an amendment to tho National Insurance Bill giving doctors increased representation on the Health Committees. Another amendment given notice of by Mr. Lloyd-George provides that a Conciliation Board shall eetilo disputes, but the local authorities shall arrange tho remuneration of the doctors. (Bcc. December 1, 11 p.m.) London, December 1. In the House of Commons the report stage on tho Insurance Bill has concluded. Four hundred and soventy Government amendments passed, with the assistance of the guillotine. Mr, Bonar Law declared that an outrage was being perpetrated in order tiat there should bo 'no obstacle to Home Rule. If tho Opposition challenged divisions, the House would have to sit until 7.30 on Saturday evening. Mr. Lloyd-George said the Bill ia supposed to be noncontentious. The Opposition left the House in a body when the divisions' were called.
