THE NAVY LEAGUE.
Tho welcome to the new naval Com-mandsr-in-Chief organised by the Wellington branch of tho Navy League for Saturday night at the Town Hall is also to be of the nature, of a farewell to the officers and men of tho "Old Commission," who aro now making their last visit to New Zealand waters. Tho moving pictures to be shown are all modern naval films. Incidental music is to be played by the flagship's baud. An intimation appears in another column as to prices of admission. Nominal charges have been found necessary owing to the somewhat heavy expenses incurred for tho moving pictures, etc.
