At a meeting of the committee of the AVellington Kifle Association, held last evening, .Air. It. Marshall was elected chairman of the executive. The arrangements for the association's prize meeting at Trentliam on January 1 and 2 next were fully discussed, and a programme of events, drafted on a generous scale, was adopted. Altogether ,1)70 in prizemoney, with a number of valuable trophies, will be offered for competition. In cacli of the six district championship matches the first prize will be <£4, and tho second £3, with the lesser awards in proportion.
