On tho farm of Mr. George Sanger, tho well-known showman at East Finchley, a farm servant'named Cooper, armed with ii hatchet and a razor, cut the throat of Jackson, a servant, in tho scullery, then proceeding to the drawing-room ho attacked Mr. Sanger, cutting his head open with the axo. He next attacked Austin, a servant, who was reading to Sanger. Cooper then escaped, and the police are scouring the neighbourhood. Mr. Sanger, who is oighty-four years of age, died in a few hours. .
