Messrs. lirand and Johnston advertise a sale by auction at the yards, Waring Taylor Street, next M'Leod, Weir, and Ropkirk's sawmill, on Thursday morning, at It o'clock sharp, when they will offer an extensive quantity of building timber, doors, window sashes, frames, mouldings, joists, studs, totnra plates, signboards, galvanised iron, etc. The corporation offices will be closed tomorrow (Thursday), tho occasion being St. Andrew's Day. To-day, at their auction rooms, Lambton Quay, Messrs.
