NAVY LEAGUE.
• » — SATURDAY NIGHT'S EVENT. Admiral King-Hall and Lady King-Ilall will be present at the annual demonstration of the Wellington branch of the Navy League ou Saturday evening. This is to be held at the Town llall, proceedings commencing at 8 o'clock. During a recent visit to Auckland, Jlr. Cecil Palmer, secretary of the local branch of tho league, found that tho new Admiral. 011 the Australasian .station is much interested in the work of the leagne, and oti Saturday evening Lady King-Hall will present the prizes, while the Admiral has also consented to give a short address. As it is known that Admiral King-Hall holds very 'clearly-defined views on certain aspects of naval activity, it is sale to say that his remarks are sure to be very interesting. The lighter side of things has not been forgotten. This will include, motion picture; 01 the TnrcoItalian war. while interesting features in the programme will be staged by bluejackets from warships of tho squadron in port.
