OTAKI

Mr. Byron Brown addressed the Otaki electors in tlw Town Hall on Thursday evening, and was subject to some heckling from a section of those present. After some disturbance,- and- the election of Mr. .T. G.- Stevens to the chair, in place of Mr. Quill, who said he did not feel equal to controlling the meeting,, matters proceeded more smoothly, although there were-occasional interjections. Tho address was mainly on the lines of previous ones, the speaker dealing ably with matters' of importance. Several questions were asked and answered. On the motion of Mr. J.. G. Hankins, the eandidato was accorded a hearty vote of thanks.
