Tho crowd closed round, and tho speaker wan pulled off tho box on which he was stand, nig. There was some jostling, but tho appearance, of tho polico somewhat quietened things, not, however, More tho lfcv. 13. Lsinger (who had with several others been championing tho speakers) had received one or two kicks and was somewhat roughly handled. Mr. Kaine was called upon by tho crowd to givo a song. Ho readily consented with "There is a tavern in the town and wo mean to put down." The rest of tho song was drowned in uproar.
