(Before Mr. W. G. Riddell, S.M.) POLICE CASES. Donald Malhioson was fined £2 for insobriety. Alfred Ireland was fined £1 on a charge of indecency. William Thomas pleaded guilty to n. charge of insobriety, and also to an accusation of having been on premises where liciuor was illegally bold. He was fined £\. On a charge of having stolen Government railway towels, worth 55., James Henward was remanded till Wednesday. For insobrirty ho was fined 10s. Charges of having stolen ,C 5 and £6 18s. Bd. from Philip Munn and W. E. Ramsay, respectively, were made against Joseph Ernest Nicholson, who was remanded to Christchurch. .
