(Turn Oar Own Correspondent.) At Lower'Hutt Police Court yesterday morning, before Mr. G. A. Chapman, J.P., a first-offender in insobriety was fined 55., in default 21 hours' imprisonment. Tho pumping plant in connection with Lower Hutt water supply has again been giving trouble, and the engineer will report on tho subject to tho council on Monday night.
