BABY SUFFOCATED. (By Telegraph-Press Association.! Dunedin, November 21. A child was born trt Mary Harriet Maxwell, n. housekeeper, early yesterday morning, and died through suffocation caused by the cord constricting the neck. The woman had concealed her condition, and her statement was.that sho did not expect the birth so soon, and therefore had not procured assistance. The inquest was adjourned pending recovery of tho woman.
