THE MARGIT WRECK.
MARINE BOARD INQUIRY. By Telosrraph—Press Association—Copjrrlcbt Adelaide, November 22. The position of the Norwegian barque Margif, wrecked 30 miles from Kingston earlier in the month, is unchanged. Tho vessel lies on an even keel, with her sails set. - The cargo is practically undamaged. A Marine Board inquiry found that the loss of the barque wa-s caused by careless navigation and general neglect of the recognised rules of navigation. On tho night of tho disaster tho master was not oil deck in the evening watch, tho vessel being left in charge of an uncertificated officer. Tho Court discredited tho master's suggestion that tho current caused the loss.
