In the Ballarat East primary count the Ministerialists polled 2737 votes, and the Independents 171 G. Labour, being the lowest, dropped out, and the second preferences wero distributed, giving the Independent a majority of 127. LABOUR GONE BACK. (Rec. November 20, 1.5 a.m.) Sydney, November 19. Mr. M'Gowen (Premier of New South Wales) declares that the Victorian elections is the first instance in his r«collection that Labour had gone back.
