WAITING ADVICE FEOM NEW ZEALAND.. At- the .last monthly meeting of the Fruitgrowers' Union of New South Wales a letter was received from tho Secretary of the Department of Agriculture, that tho Department had not yet been advised that tho New Zealand regulations requiring that 10 per cent, of tho fruit bo unpacked and inspected at Sydney prior to shipment, had been gazetted. The Minister hod, therefore, decided to discontinue tho practice till the Department : was officially informed that the regulations had come into force, and any fruit for export in future to bo carefully inspected as heretofore,- but without dumping.
