There was a brilliant scene. The Speech from tho Throne foreshadowed Government control of the grain elevators on the Great Lakes, model highways throughout the provinces, scientific methods of teaching agriculture, the formation of a tariff commission .to govern alternations in the tariff on a scientific basis.
