Astoria, Oregon, on tho left bank of the Columbia River, reports that the steamer Washington went ashoro during a gnlo, and is in great danger. There are many passengers, and a disaster is feared. PASSENGERS RESCUED. (Rec. November 15, 0.35 a.m.) New York, November 14. Fourteen passengers on board tho Washington wero rescued after a terrific battlo with tho gale. Tho tug, after many failures, managed to get a lino on board and towed the vessel off tho rocks.
