THE MEN'S BROTHERHOOD
Tlio usual weekly gathering of the Men's Brotherhood, which took place nt the New Theatre, Manners Street, was splendidly attended yesterday. The Kcv. George Trecciir. of Western Australia, was the sneaker. Mr. W. J. Gaiidin occupied the chain Mi's. G. W. Keid, 8.A., flighted the audiencD with a couple of solos, for which she was warmly applauded. Mr. Trepcar who was well received, spoko at some length on the possibilities of a man's life. He said that every man's future depended upon himself, and whatever he sowed now ho. was sure to reap in the future, lie urged his hearers to plav the game, and do their part in making' this world better, brighter, and happier, and at all eo.-ts d> wipe out of existence anything that would tend to make their felloV mpii's lives more difficult to live. Mi. AV. 3. Korshaw moved a vote of thanks to the speaker, soloist, and chairman, which was earned. The speaker next Sunday will bo Mr. Tregcar, ex Secretary for Labour.
