RATEPAYERS TO BE CONSULTED. At the meeting of the Miraniar Borough Council lost night tho following proposals were submitted by Miraniar, Limited:— "1. That this company transfer and dedicate free nf c«t to your council, iu trust for tho Borough of Jlirnraar, seven acres (as may bo choson by your council) of the flat land known as Miramar Park, to be held as a public resorvo for such purposes as may bo dccidcd : upon. Also, "2. To transfer to your council that portion of land at tho north end of tho company's property known as tho catchment area, containing about 30 acres, more or less. "The above proposals are subject to and tifon the following conditions:— "(a) That your council forthwith remove tho cavcat which it lodged on this company's property. "(b) That your council approve and take over certain lands upon the company's property which may hereafter be agreed upon. "(c) That ironr council pay half thn cost, of form 1115 and making any read or roads through tlio park, which it may bo necessary or desirable to make, and upon which such land tnk"ii under Clause No. 1 of this latter abuts and joins.
