EMIGRATION AGENTS.
SUBMIT COMPLAINTS. By Telccraph—Press Association—Copy ricM London, November 8. A deputation of lendiug emigration agents in Great Britain complaincd to Sir George l?eid, High Commissioner for Australia, of their inability to find shipping accommodation for all emigrants offering for Australia. It was stated that many of thoso accepted had given up farms or situations, and were then unablo to get away. The Agents-General hail (lono everything to secure additional spaco. Victoria, West Australia, and Queensland were not accepting more emigrants until those on hand had been shipped. Tho deputation urged that if further ships wero not available, Sir George Reid should stop advertising. Sir George Reid refused to adopt the latter suggestion; the matter, he said, belonged to the Agents-General. He promised to see if anything could be done.
