The report of tho principal chemist of the Government laboratory states that several documents furnished by old age pension claimants were examined and' found fraudulent. In somo instances tho ink used in the entries of the date of birth in old Bibles and prayer-books was proved to bo of rcceijt date, and in others- the figures of certificates of birth or marriago had been rccentlv altered.
