It.is practically certain that Roilgers will arrive at Basalioma, California, on Sunday, completing his transcontinental trip. When crossing Salton Lake the cylinder exploded, and Roilgers voloplancd for four miles, landing outside tho Imperial Junction Depot. He was travelling seventy miles an hour when the accident occurred, and repairs will occupy a day. A BROKEN PROPELLER. (Rcc. November C, 0.20 a.m.) Nov; York, November 5. Melville Vaniman, while making an experimental trip in an airship, landed near tho seashore, owing to insufficiency of gas, his propeller being broken, besides other damage. He intends to make another attempt to cross the Atlantic. PROM PENRITH TO PARRAMATTA. Sydney, November 4. Mr. Hait is the first successful Australian aviator. He flew from Penrith to Porramatta with a passenger, doing the nineteen miles in nineteen minules.
