From December 1 the present timetable of the Wanganui River service from Taumnrunui will be increased. Jn addition to the present days of .starting—Tuesdavs, Thursdays, and Saturdays at G. 15 a.m., boats will also leave on Wednesdays and Fridays at 9 a.m. Passengers bv the Fridav and Wednesday boats will sfav over-night at the houseboat. This increased service is to enable patrons to take this fine trip in easy stages, and avoid early morning rises after the previous long day's journey from Taupo to Taumarunui, or tho late arriving expresses at Taumarunui from north and south.
