MEN'S BROTHERHOOD.
A "SISTER" APPOINTED. At a recent meeting of the Brotherhood Executive Committee Miss Williams was unnnimously appointed as "sister" to help in tho oharitable work of the Brotherhood and Central Mission. Her appointment as Sister Mildred will be publicly recoguiscd at the pleasant Sunday afternoon in the New Theatre to-morrow, when Sir Robert Stout, K.C.M.G., will preside. Short addresses will bo given by Dr. Platts-Mills and Sister Mildred, Visitors to the city—Miss Helen Gardner (Dunedin), Mr. W. Aspinall (Auckland), and Mr. S. H. Osboru (Dunedin)—will assist in tho programme The meeting is open to all. At tho Central Mission service .at 7 o'clock Sister Mildred will assist, and Miss Isabel Grant (Christchurch) will sing. Tho dedication service, conducted by Revs, J. Ward, J. G. Chapman. E, O. Blamlres, and C, H, Olds, will follow at 8.30 p.m.
