NEW MARKET ARRANGEMENT. By Telesraph—Press Association— Oopyrieht (Rec. November 2, 10 p.m.) London, November 2. With a view to preventing sudden violent variations in the prices of tin, the Metal Exchange has adopted a newform of contract applicable to deliveries after February 1. This will give settlers the option of delivering either class "A," which consists of good merchantable Straits Settlements, Australian, and refined tin, assaying at not less than 993 per cent., at the contract price; or "B" tin, which oonsists of common ingots and. Blabs, assaying at not less than 99 per cent., subject to a rebate of £7 a ton from the contract price.
