MANAWATU PRIZE-WINNERS. The Manawatu Golf Club concluded its season at tho Ilokowhitu links (Palmerston) on Saturday afternoon in beautiful weather, with a mixed foursome match. Tho games resulted in a tio between Mrs. Whitmore and F. H. Cooko and Miss Wylds and C. Waldegravc. Tho prize was awarded to the first-named. Tho hon. secretary of the club (Mr. L. A. Abraham) gave special prizes for tho other pair in tho tie. At tho conclusion of tho play the trophies won during tho season wero presented by Mrs. Gilford Moore, and wero as follow:—Ladies' B matches:—Monthly medal, A., Miss Moore; monthly medal, B, Miss Coombs; junior, Mrs. Macdonnld; monthly bogy, A, Mrs. L. Seifert; monthly bogy, B, Mrs. Adams; junior, Miss Wylds; eclectic prize, Mrs. L. Seifert; status handicap, Miss Wray; junior American tournament, Miss Wylds; L.G.U., silver medal, Mrs. Seifert; L.G.U. bronzo medal, Miss Coombs; junior championship, Miss Coombs; senior championship, Miss Wray; Freeth record cup, Mrs. Williams, Masterton, and Miss Wray, Palmerston, lie, both names being placed on the cup, which remains with the club. Men's prizes:—Senior championship, A. Barraud; junior championship, R. G. Moore; ladder, 11. N. Watson; Barraud and Abraham cup, L. Seifert; M'llardy cup, 11. L. Young; Plunlcet cup, S. Tyerman; junior medal, D. F. lieid; junior bogy, G. Slack.
