WRECK-ON THE FRENCH COAST. By TclOETaph—l'ress Association—Copyright Paris, October 23. The Greek steamer Georgios (2875 tons) was wrecked at the mouth of tlie river Gironde, and fifteen persons drowned.
A- BARQUE ON FIRE. Fremantle, October 24. The iron barquo Concordia, 1308 tons, from Swansea to Ballaballa, has put in here with her cargo of coal on fire. Tho firo broko out on October 3, but tho closing of tho hatches prevented it spreading extensively. Tho cargo is being removed so ns to allow t.ho sceno of tho outbreak to be reached.
