SUCCESS OF PASTEUKISATION. (By TeleiraDh.—Press Assoeiation.) Christchurch, October 21. ' At tho annual meeting of the Central Dairy Company the directors' report stated that the balance for the year, including a balance brought forward from tho previous year of .£1521, amounted to .E7375. The usual sis per cent dividend and bonus of three-eighths of a penny per pound to suppliers was recommended. The shipments to London totalled 237 t'ons, and G94 tons were sold for consumption in the Dominion. A portion of the butter exported to London was made from pasteurised cream, and has been so favourably reported on that the directors are arranging for the pasteurisation of the whole of their cream. The report was adopted.
