Tho Employers' Parliamentary Council, on behalf of various associations of employers, has memorialised tho Prime Minister against the tyranny of so-called peaceful picketing. It is contended that tho trades unions should bo mado responsible for their actions to tho ordinary law. It is also urged that tho Government should suppress as unlawful nny federation of unions formed to paralyse I tho country by a general strike or lockout.
