Twn ouuees breadcrumbs, J pint marmalade, loz. castor sugar, 2 (yojks and whites separate), Joz. butter, J pint milk. Cream tho butter and sugar until white, and b:at in the yolks of eggs, one at a time, add the breadcrumbs and milk, and lastly tho stiffly-whisked whites of eggs. Put a laver of the mixture in a well-bnthrcd piedish, spread this with marmalade, cover with custard, and proceed until tho dish is full. The top layer should bo custard. Bako in a very moderate oven for about three-quarters of nn hour. Servo either hot or cold. ■FOR TO-MORROW. Schnapper, curry powder, one orange.
