One —a lady—who cannot attend any instruction class on accouut of distance, studies chemistry in an excellent little laboratory fitted up by her i'alher. Another rides nine miles to catch tho train 011 Fridays, so as to be at class on Saturday morning, and yet another rides over fifteen miles of rough eon 11 try lo rrnch an iiialrtldion centre. The ihfipeetor adds:—"Would that manv of I how, who .ire directly in touch with" facilities for improvement, slumed half the amount of zeal."
