BELATED BOATS.
<, STEAMER SQUALL TURNS Ul>. (By Telegraph.—l'rcss Association.) Auckland, October 18. A little anxiety was felt in shipping circles in connection with the Union Steam Ship Company's Squall, which left Gisborne on Thursday lost at midnight, and was five days overdue nt Auckland. All uncertainty was, however, relieved this afternoon when the Squall arrived shortly after three o'clock. The Kotuni and the Kahu, of the Richardson Line, aTO also making long passages from the coast, and it is probable that they are sheltering. The big Italian sailer Australia is 15 days out from Wellington for Auckland, but the elements are against her making port, it being likely that sho has been blown off the coast.
