FORECAST AND SUMMARY. Present indications aie for hiph westerly winds, giving way shortly to a southerly gale, Much rain probable generally, colder weather, and snow on higher levels in tho south, with a smart rise in the barometer everywhere soon. Westerly wind?, strong to sale, have prcyajJed, and Fpually and j-hcwcry weather in most parts of the country. Snow has iaJlcn in high country in the south.
