The wreck of the steamer Macloay has been located off tho eastern point of Big Cabbage Tree Island. An extended search has failed to discloso any signs of further survivors. (Rec. October IG, 0.40 a.m.) Sydney, October 15. At the inquest on tho threo bodies from the wreck of tho Maclcay, tho coroner's verdict was: "Found drowned," adding that the foundering of tho vessel was caused by the careless navigation of tho chief officer (Goldsmith).
