- Preliminaries are now bting carried out at tho Jlawera' Show grounds in anticipation of the Egmont Show, which is to lie held nest month. A number, of new cattle and pis-pens aro being constructed in fresh positions, and ii. this place of tho old cattle-pens two judging rings aro to bo made so as to enable tho public to witch the judging. A similar ring is to bo made for sh«p. A. permanent pavilion for dogs is also being built. A good deal of turfing has been done in the main ring for the better running of tho harness classes.
