9 FORECAST AND SUMMARY. Present indications are for the development of a westerly storm area, high northerly wince, veering to westerly, cloudy and unsettled weather prevailing, and rain probably in most parts of the country. The barometer will probably fall everywhere. Tho winds have changed to north and cast, and freshened everywhere, with decreasing barometric pressure. Hodge, reporting at 6 o'clock to-night for the previous 24 hours, stated :-Shadc temperature, maximum 70.4deg., minimum 42 deg., mean J6.2deg.; earth radiation, 36dee.: oarth temperature (lft. >beiow ground), 64.8 dog.; wind, light breeze, N.W. Tho weather has been fine and warm, as well as dry, since Soptcmber 29, when 40 points of rain fell, accompanied by hail. Hastings, October 11.—To-day the. weather has been dull, but line.
