FIRE AT KATOOMBA.
By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Sydney, October 10. . A fire, supposed to have boon started by lightning, occurred early tliis manning n't Katoomba, in tho Blue Mountains. Messrs. Mullaney's largo store was destroyed, but tho fire was prevented from spreading to other buildings. Tho damage amounts to .£15,000. As there were no fire appliances in tlio township, fircmon were 6ent out from Sydney, G5 miles distant. (Hoc. Octobcr 11, 1.5 a.m.) Sydney, October 10. Tho Katoomba firo was tho biggest that has occurred in tho town. The damage is estimated at .£IB,OOO. Crowds watchod tho fire throughout the night
