.AN IRATE ACCUSED. The, time,, waSj yesterday morning, and rt&'kene wis Court. The accused was a somewhat irato woman, charged with being an idlo and disorderly person, and tho dialoguo which was brisk as long as it lasted, ran thus:— Clerk of tho Court: "You are charged with being an idlo and disorderly " Accused: "I was not drunk, your Worship. I want a remand until Thursday." Clerk: "Wait until I finish. You are charged with being an idlo and' disorderly person. Do you plead guilty or not guilty?" Accused (indignantly): "Not guilty, your Worship. I want a remand until Thursday." Mr. Riddell, S.M.: "Do you want counsel ?" Accused (sharply): "Counsell What's counsel?" His Worship: "Do you want a solicitor?" Accused (heatedly): "Thafs my business. I've got some very rospccfcablo friends, and they will come down to the Court on Thursday for me." His Worship: 'Very well, you will bo remanded until Thursday." Accused (curtly): "Thank you."
