SPRING CATTLE FAIR
The auctioneers wish to draw tho attention of the public to tho fourth annual spring cattle fair, to be held on account of .Mr. R. A. M'Kenzio, at the Now Saleyards, Boundary Road, . Palmerston North, on Tuesday,'. October, i 7. As in, the past, the youug. cattle, beef and female' stock will bo ottered without reserve, The 1400 yearling steers arc all station bred, and comprise Shorthorn,Polled Aligns, and Hereford* from some of the best breeders in the North Island. The .yearling In-ifi.-rs, 300 in number, and the-line of 30 two-year heifers are par-' ticularly choice quality, and should be eagerly sought after. ' The beef to be offered comprise 50 prime fat bullocks and 160 prime heifers and cows, and as beef is "at present very scarce this affords an excellent opportunity lor butchers -to fill their requirements.' . The 17{10 bullocl* to be sold are three, four, and five-year station-bred cattle, and will bo drafted and.offered in lots to suit purchasers. ■■_'.• As usual, the sale will be conducted by Messrs. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., and New Zealand Loan and Mercantile. Agency' Co., Ltd., in conjunction, and conveyances will runat intervals to the yards, to suit the-convenience of tho public.
