At the annual' meeting of the Hereford Breeders' Association, it Was decided to recomnieriff .to'the-incoming cominitteo "that it. .is'advisable- nnd in the best. interests of breeders that' tho cattle, particularly stud bulls, belonging to members of the association, should be tested for tuberculosis, and the fact of a herd holding n Government certificate of cleanliness noted in future issues of the herd bcok. ' A few weeks ago cauliflowers were selling on the local market at 2s. per sack, the heavy supply which brought ths price so low being the result of shipments received from Auckland; At-such a price it did not pay northern shippers, and they cut off the supply.-.
